TeamLease Degree Apprenticeship has released the Apprentice Outlook Report for HY2 2022. The report covers the forecast for apprentice engagement based on employer sentiment.

Jul-Dec 2022 will register a Net Apprenticeship Outlook (NAO) of 69%, the steepest in the last two
years, indicating a steady increase in the intent for engaging apprentices.

There is also a considerable increase in the preference among companies for hiring degree
apprentices. NAO for degree apprentices increased from 10% in Jan-Jun 2022 to 53% in Jul-Dec
2022. Aerospace & Aviation, Agriculture & Agrochemicals, and Services including repair &
maintenance are the key sectors for degree apprentices.
